Some elements are already agreed upon:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Although conservation must come first, the territory will not be under a &#8220;glass bell&#8221; and wildlife harvesting activities (hunting, fishing, trapping) will continue to be allowed. However, certain activities could be prohibited or regulated (e.g. camping, permanent hunting blinds, off-road vehicle traffic, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>The management of the territory should be inspired by major principles: respect for sustainable development (balance between the environment and economic development); protection of the integrity of ecosystems and landscapes; respect for the living environment of citizens; respect for conservation easements.<\/li>\n<li>Accessibility to the territory should be maintained or even improved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; custom_margin=&#8221;||0px||false|false&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>Board of Directors<\/h2>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_divider color=&#8221;#57AC5A&#8221; divider_weight=&#8221;1px&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; custom_margin=&#8221;||0px||false|false&#8221; global_module=&#8221;370&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][\/et_pb_divider][et_pb_text ul_item_indent=&#8221;45px&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]In parallel with the process of creating the wildlife refuge, a non-profit organization, the Corporation de gestion des berges de la rivi\u00e8re des Outaouais (CGBRO), was created in 2001 to assist the MFFP in managing the future wildlife refuge.
